This album was mostly recorded in the basement of the house I grew up in as a child, as me and my wife were in transition seeking a better life in NYC after struggling for years in upstate NY. Taking a long hiatus from music, a built up necessity evolved to express, create, and explore various sounds and lyrics in my head.
On a four-track I recorded the drums, guitar, bass, and theramin. My lovely wife on VOX.
The engineering and production magic happened at Triangle House, Millerton, NY, by the one and only Ian McGuire aka Burt Murder.
Thanks to Evan Mann for playing bass on Millions of Miles and 12-string on Don't Know What to Say.
Thanks to Ian for playing drums on Pouring Mud, Angels Tongue, I don't even know, Genius People, and Middle Man and adding all the essential nuances with the midi.
